Lead capture gates
Lead gates let you capture email addresses mid-demo. They create a natural exchange: viewers have seen enough value to share their contact information.
In the editor, click any step and select "Add Lead Gate" from the toolbar. The gate appears before that step, requiring viewers to fill out a form before continuing.
The default form collects email only. You can optionally add name and company fields.
Best practice: place the gate after step 3-5. Placing it too early kills completion rates because viewers have not seen enough value. Placing it too late means fewer people reach it.
Captured leads appear on your Leads page with the viewer's email, name, company (auto-detected from email domain), the demo they came from, and which step they were on.
Leads sync automatically to HubSpot if you have the integration connected. UTM parameters from the viewer's session are attached for campaign attribution.
You can export leads as CSV from the Leads page for import into any CRM.
