How do I record a demo?

Install the Aceframe Chrome extension, navigate to the page you want to record, and click "Start Recording" in the extension popup. Click through your workflow — each click captures a step. When you're done, click "Stop & Edit" to open the editor.

Can I edit steps after recording?

Yes. After recording, the editor lets you reorder steps, edit annotations, adjust zoom levels, crop screenshots, and delete steps you don't need.

Does AI write the annotations?

Yes. Aceframe uses AI to automatically generate step-by-step annotations based on your screenshots and click positions. You can edit or rewrite any annotation.

How do I share a demo?

Every demo gets a unique shareable link. You can also embed demos on your website using the embed code provided in the editor.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 15 demos and 5 guides. Paid plans start at $19/month for unlimited demos and AI annotations.

The Chrome extension isn't recording — what do I do?

Make sure you're on a regular web page (not a Chrome internal page like chrome:// or the Chrome Web Store). Try refreshing the page and clicking "Start Recording" again. If the issue persists, email us at hello@aceframe.ai.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings in your dashboard and click "Manage Subscription" to access the billing portal. You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
